Shane Childers is a distinguished partner and attorney at Childers Bosch PC, bringing a wealth of experience and a robust educational background to the firm. He earned his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Business from the University of Michigan in 2002, followed by a Juris Doctor from Regent University School of Law, graduating cum laude in 2008.
Shane is admitted to practice law before the Supreme Courts of Michigan, Wisconsin, and Wyoming, as well as the United States Court of Appeals for the Armed Forces. His areas of practice include Estate Planning, Business and Corporate Law, Estate Administration, Elder Law, and Real Estate Law.

Shane’s exemplary military career as a Lieutenant Colonel in the United States Air Force adds a unique dimension to his legal practice. He serves as an IMA assistant staff judge advocate at the co-located North American Aerospace Defense Command (NORAD) and the U.S. Northern Command (USNORTHCOM) at Peterson AFB, CO. In this role, he provides crucial legal advice during emergencies, contingencies, and national-level exercises. Shane also assists with legal matters related to NORAD’s air and sovereignty missions, counterdrug efforts, consequence management, and USNORTHCOM’s Defense Support of Civil Authorities mission and all US-based military operations.
Shane’s military accolades include the Air Force Meritorious Service Medal, the Air Force Commendation Medal with two oak leaf clusters, the Meritorious Unit Award, and the AF Outstanding Unit Award. His extensive legal and military experience is underscored by his successful representation of the government in fourteen Courts-Martial and six discharge boards.
Outside of his professional life, Shane is dedicated to his family and community. Shane and his wife have two sons. Shane enjoys outdoor activities such as hunting, fishing, hiking, and playing sports with his boys. He is an avid runner and an active member of his church.
